🌸🔷 Agapanthus Cut Flower Care Guide :

1. Trim the stems: • Cut 2–3 cm from the bottom of each stem at a diagonal angle with a sharp, clean knife or scissors. • Re-cut every 2–3 days for better water absorption. 

2. Use clean, cool water: • Fill a clean vase with fresh, cool water. • Agapanthus stems are sturdy and need consistent hydration. • Change the water every 2–3 days. 

3. Remove lower leaves: • Strip any foliage below the waterline to prevent bacterial buildup. 

4. Use flower food (recommended): • Add a commercial flower preservative to extend vase life. • Optional: 1 tsp sugar + a few drops of lemon juice or vinegar. 

5. Provide support: • Use a tall vase to support the long stems and large, rounded flower heads. 

6. Place in a cool area: • Ideal temperature: 10–20°C. • Avoid direct sun, heaters, drafts, and ripening fruit (which emits ethylene gas). 

7. Remove faded florets: • The individual florets on the bloom head may fade at different times — gently remove spent ones to keep the flower looking fresh. 

8. Vase life: • Agapanthus typically lasts 7–10 days, sometimes up to 2 weeks with proper care
